New Life Quintet. Tribute to Martin Nitsch

Martin Nitsch (1970–2018) was one of the most influential figures in the Tyrolean jazz scene. The Tyrolean Provincial Museums are dedicating a CD recording of his last compositions to the musician who passed away too soon, performed by the New Life Quintet, consisting of long-time companions of Nitsch. During the public CD presentation, a selection of the pieces featured on the recording will be presented live.

A panel discussion will additionally explore Martin Nitsch as an artist, with anecdotes certainly included.
