From Josef Bauer to Elke Silvia Krystufek to Lois Weinberger
The state of Tyrol acquired 40 works by 26 artists from Tyrol and beyond between 2018 and 2020. The “arttirol 9” exhibits them all, presenting a cross-section of modern and contemporary art. Among the works are paintings, sculptures, photographs, and video works. Many have connections to Tyrol, whether through the origins of the respective artists or the themes of a work. Others bring in perspectives from outside and place the collection in an international context.
Experience a diverse exhibition experience with promising young and younger positions from Tyrol, Austria, and the world.
