Without a conductor, but under the overall direction of the principal concertmaster Annedore Oberborbeck, who leads the orchestra from her stand, the Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra Innsbruck presents its own interpretation of Ludwig van Beethoven's First Symphony for the opening of the Musical Summer 2021 in Toblach. A powerful introduction to Beethoven's energetic symphony is created by the brass and percussion players of the TSOI with the 1943 premiere of Fanfare for the Common Man by the American composer Aaron Copland.
