To show that prompting is much more than just reading text aloud, after 26 years of service as a prompter at the Tyrolean State Theatre, I wanted to illustrate this with a very personal film project about this fascinating and rare profession. For this, I interviewed seven directors and two dramaturges during my last season 22/23. The result is an exciting film document that aims to tell about the collaboration with the direction, the handling of language at the theater, the sensitivity for actors in rehearsal situations and performances, and my love for art.
