Where does the Easter Bunny come from? Which animal brings Easter gifts in Australia? And what does a blue deer have to do with Easter? At ten interactive stations, children can learn a lot of interesting and surprising facts about the Easter festival at the Folk Art Museum.
The intervention "Celebrating Easter - Here and Elsewhere" focuses on the festival and its diverse customs. Throughout the entire museum, participants will solve puzzles and discover exciting stories about Easter traditions and customs.
At the same time, adults can enjoy a video tour for the first time, which also addresses the Easter festival in different cultures and establishes interreligious connections. The four short films were produced in collaboration with the House of Encounter and, like the interactive stations for children, offer a new perspective on old traditions, history, and folk art, as well as beyond one’s own horizon.
