Description

Poisoned-Shot-Captive: Wildlife Tracking in Austria

Illegal stalking is one of the most significant threats to birds of prey, as well as various large mammals.

Important questions regarding this issue will be addressed during the lecture:

What laws protect our native wildlife and why? How can one recognize shootings or poisonings?

Where can a suspicious case be reported? What should be considered when handling evidence?

The goal is to prevent illegal attacks on protected species through improved awareness-raising.

A protection project supported by the federal government (Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation, and Technology) and the European Union.
